Climbing opportunities in Estonia
Climbing is the use of the hands, feet, and any other body parts to move vertically or horizontally on an inclined surface.
Climbing is a rapidly developing sport both in Estonia and elsewhere in the world. In addition to being a sport in its own right, it is also a good preparation for more technical mountain routes, and climbing skills can be practiced on indoor walls all year round. Climbing training can be enjoyed from the very first movements and combines physical strength training, coordination, technical skills, problem (route) solving and also the ability to concentrate.
There are several subspecies of climbing (bouldering, weight climbing, rock climbing, ice climbing, etc.), but here we will focus mainly on two forms of wall climbing: weight climbing and boulderingThis page lists various climbing walls across Estonia, both indoor and outdoor artificial walls.
NB! To find out about specific climbing opportunities and conditions, contact the climbing wall manager.
