Tanel Tilk
I could best be described as an “adventure traveler” (adventure traveler).
I am an adventure enthusiast who loves to do anything that takes me out of my comfort zone. I discovered travel for myself in 2011 when I attended a student seminar in France on my own. This was followed by several years of traveling around Europe as part of a student organization and a few months of backpacking in Asia. During my university years, I also gained my first experiences in event planning and organization management.
After graduating from school and a short stint as a construction manager, I packed my bags and went on a 10-month backpacking trip through Asia. For the past 4-5 years, I have spent most of my time actively traveling abroad while working remotely. I have worked with my laptop from campsites on the Pacific Ocean in Chile, in the jungles of Central America, and on the surf beaches of Mexico.
I got the hiking bug while hiking the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal. From that moment on, I started consciously looking for more opportunities to hike. I have been to 6000 meters a few times and my long-distance hiking resume includes 192 km of Peaks of the Balkans, 500 km of the Lycian Way in Turkey, and 500 km of the Transcaucasian Trail in Georgia.
In general, I am an optimistic, solution-oriented person who believes that all people around the world are still beautiful and good. 🙂
