Suzy Anett Aavik

I spent a lot of time working out in my youth. So, when I had enough of competing and running in circles, it wasn't hard to continue my active lifestyle and take on new challenges. My first longer trip was to Romania with my relatives - there I clearly understood how difficult, but rewarding, kondimootorIt's breathtaking in the mountains. Every time a new view awaits you around the corner, you forget all the exhaustion from the previous hike and you're refreshed to reach the next peak!

Then, through a series of lucky coincidences, I arrived in Norway, learned the language and stayed for three academic years to study hiking leadership. Of course, my school years were spent more outdoors than at school, and my free time hobbies did not differ much from my profession. By now, I have completed more in-depth courses in glaciers, mountaineering, cross-country, mountain and randonnée skiing, accident management (on glaciers, climbing, in rivers and on the coast) and sailing with traditional boats. In addition to school, my friend and I organized adventure sports events, which, while orienteering over mountains, rivers and through bushes, always culminated in a small challenge (e.g. rappelling down a bridge, pictured). I am a big fan of winter sports, I like to snowboard (or splitboard), but also the local telemark The style is no longer foreign to me. In addition to active activities, I enjoy humming by the campfire, watching a good movie, putting together puzzles, and baking black bread.

Today I am a seasonal guide on the west coast of Norway, and I use the rest of my time to enjoy the vagabond life in a small way - to enjoy nature, self-development, and spending time with friends/family. It doesn't take much!
