Sergei Kleidov
My passion for hiking began in 2014, when I accidentally discovered mountains, forests and villages while hiking in Thailand. This way of discovering a new place has kept me captivated until now and increasingly so. In addition to new places, hiking allows you to discover many important things about yourself and your abilities, as well as about your companions. Every true hiker can also remind themselves from time to time of the value of the simple things in life – after a summit day or a long day of hiking, the greatest wish and dream is warm running water, a comfortable bed and, what is more, a cold beer. These simple things never offer all inclusive such immense pleasure in hotels as at the end of a proper day of hiking!
Sometimes you find out while hiking that you can still keep going seven hours after you thought you couldn't. And the best way to relieve work stress is to have a survival instinct, which can come into play on challenging journeys. But hiking is a positive addiction, and that's because from the first moment a hiking group gets together, it's like a family - everyone is taken care of, everyone has to have a good time and be safe. Those who come into nature with a big and open heart, and that always makes every hike special.
Hiking is the best school of life, and that's why I'm always thinking about where to go next. I want to see nature, eat good food, discover remote and untouched places, and do it in great company.
