When I was little, my dad would go on a long bike ride with his friends every summer. Of course, I wasn't included, so I had to watch the whole packing and hustle and bustle with a dirty face, and ended up staying home.
That memory stuck with me and a few years later I took matters into my own hands. I went on a bike trip around Hiiumaa and it was a trip that I only gave the finger to, but which ended up taking my hand - not literally, of course. Since then, I have taken every opportunity to hike, be in nature and travel. There are so many beautiful places and hiking trails in the world to discover.
Mountain hiking only recently came to my attention. To be precise, a few years ago, when I visited Trolltunga in Norway. It was so inspiring that I made it a habit - from now on, I try to take at least one longer hike in the mountains every year.
Main travel interests: longer walking tours, mountain hikes, exotic/special destinations.
