I stumbled upon climbing by chance: TÜASK offered a mountaineering course and I was looking for a new hobby. However, it cannot be said that everything followed naturally after that – rope work did not come smoothly, I could not handle the height and the training was physically very difficult. However, something started to stick, because after the basic course I moved to a bouldering hall, where I stayed for a long time until the overcrowding and the newly built rope hall made me think about rope climbing again. I joined a follow-up course, unexpectedly I became fascinated by rope work and soon I participated in my first rope work competition. I undertook outdoor climbing trips with Elamus: Poland, then El Chorro and Kalymnos. My fear of heights has not disappeared, but ironically, multi-pitches of a few hundred meters have become the highlight of my trips. After that, I have started organizing trips on my own wherever my ideas take me: to the muddy caves of Slovenia and the mountains of Southern France. I spend most of my time in either a clean or very clean chemistry lab.
Main travel interests: rock climbing (sports trails and multi-pitch).
